The Back-in-Time Hanukkah Adventure is a 30-minute interactive audio and play-based experience that will help you bring the story of Judah Maccabee to life with your students. Guided by the audio adventure, your class will “travel back in time” to Ancient Israel. There, you’ll meet Matisyahu as he prepares to light the menorah in the Holy Temple. When you arrive back at his home, you’ll learn that there’s a new king who has made it against the law to be Jewish! You’ll follow Matisyahu’s son Judah, along with his friend Hannah, on an adventure beyond Jerusalem, into the wilderness, and back again to save the city and bring back the light.
