More About the Program

  • Who: Jewish Family Educators at synagogues, JCCs, and other local Jewish organizations who plan and facilitate programs for children and families. Invited Educators receive airfare, accommodations, meals, and program resources to take home. 

  • What: This hands-on training intensive and convening will provide innovative resources to take home and implement; provocations for re-thinking young family engagement; and community-building with a national cohort of family educators at Jewish institutions around the country. Participants will be trained in The K’ilu Company pedagogy and will be provided with a toolkit of curricular resources to use in their home community.

  • When: March 4-6, 2026. Program will begin in the evening on Wednesday March 4 and conclude on Friday March 6 in the early afternoon.

  • Where: The program will take place in Northbrook, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
